One of Bayer's contrast Injection Systems offered many benefits for contrast medium delivery, but was not equipped to handle radioactive tracers often used in PET scans due to the system being designed solely for use with contrast medium.

This project aimed to adapt an add-on to the Injection System to give appropriate amount of radioactive shielding for imaging technicians to inject the radioactive PET scan tracers.
